    1972 Norton Combat Commando

This motorcycle was brought back to “zero time” less than 1700 miles ago it has been re-tuned (cam and compression ratio) to improve its performance in the low and mid-range where it gets ridden the most; it will easily top 100 MPH.

This Norton is very feature rich and was built over a 3-year period using high quality parts for improved reliability, handling and its appearance; it has won trophies in several New England British bike shows. Check the following features:

Excel alloy rims w/stainless spokes; Brembo front brake; hydraulic clutch; 3 phase charging system; Maney belt primary drive; 520 “O” ring chain conversion; CNW roller bearing swingarm; CNW reed valve crankcase breather; one-piece forged crank, steel rods, oil pump replaced with engine rebuild; CNW oil tank modification, oil pressure gauge. Ikon adjustable damping rear shocks; all new fork internals w/high hat bushings; Corbin seat; stainless “ham can” airbox; stainless fastened; oil filter added; Auto Meter tach and speedo and more. Over $4K in paint work alone. Numbers matching with clear MA title

The Norton is located in Hudson, Massachusetts where it can be seen and ridden. I can furnish additional pictures on request and can be reached at Rocky Point Cycle at 978-212-5432, ask for Bill; I am happy to answer all your questions. I’m looking for offers in the mid teens.

I'd like to have the room in my shop to complete 2 new projects. I am willing to entertain reasonable offers and help the new owner with shipping; I'm familiar with domestic motorcycle transport. If you have the level of interest necessary to make an offer please call me so we can discuss this machine in detail.
