Nice one Jerry and Mike !

Can we ask though, is there anything about these cases that is specifically 'Combat'.
They'd be the same as non-Combat cases ??

They may have a scrolled cam bushes to suite the non scrolled 2s cam.
They are, however, a very desirable late model set with the casted over mag boss and reinforce mounting bosses. More info regarding this is available at the Dyno Daves crankcase evolution section.

Thanks for the assist Pete,

What Pete posted are the only differences
I know of. These were from a genuine Combat
#209545, And I believe they went away from
The Combat platform at #211109.

They are a Very Nice set, And to give the forum
Members something I will discount shipping
20% If one of you wins the Auction.

As Jerry said, 100% of the proceeds
Are going to him to help with what he does
For us with the forum.

Thanks and Good Luck!
Mike

Nice one Mike.
Lets gets the ball rolling then. :D

Craig,

There are four countries I don't ship to due to customs issues I have experienced,
unfortunately Canada is one of the four. If you would like to purchase them I will
happily ship anywhere stateside or internationally with an updated address.

This is my everyday policy, and will continue to be.

Mike

Not asking you to change your policy just curious as to your issues, I have imported parts from several continents to my home here in Nova Scotia Canada. No problems other than a service fee ($5.00) and 15% import duty on cost of item payable at my door. Seems like you may be ignoring a potential market for your business. While I will not be bidding on the cases you have generously offered for sale I am a potential customer as are many other Canadian Norton owners.
Craig

I have never had issues with US orders. I just ask they ship US mail. It’s the Courier Services that gouge us with brokerage fees. Keep them out of it and it great. It may not get to your door the next Day or in three days but if you are willing to wait a full week it’s ok.
Cheers,
Thomas

Seem that you cant even give/donate/share something these day out of your good will and some, ?'s, want even more cos it dont quite suit them....   I saw those barrels today while searching and have now made the connection... I dont want the barrels, but did bid on the gauge,, Good luck to Mikes Vintage Parts and i thankyou for your goodwill.. And you stick to your policies, cos that keeps people in business...

That's an easy position to hold ,Ol'Chris when you are not on the no fly list
Craig

I was not asking any one to change their policies, just stating a fact. Do what is right for you. I always do.
As an example, I've got a neighbor I would not cross the street to piss on his helmet if his head was on fire, but my other neighbors are fine.

Thank You Chris.

I'll put a bow on this the best way I can.

I don't personally know Jerry Doe other than as a Great Customer & a Guy that
spends countless hours and dollars running this forum for us. My business partner and
I really like visiting the forum, and after seeing how Jerry had a tough run of luck selling
recently we decided to donate the proceeds of these cases to him to help offset a bit of the loss
Because we understand just how that can happen.

We do this in our spare time because we have a passion for vintage motorcycles, and that
is the only reason. Selling parts allows us to build more, go to races etc.

Our polices are not based off of someone else's personal experience, they are based off our own.
I know I can't possibly satisfy everyone I deal with, but I damn sure try.

Mike

I'm centrally located in the middle of nowhere, but any Canadian bidders who want to ship to me, I will be glad to deal with shipping these cases on to you where you are. If you bid, ask the seller to verify shipping cost to Juneau, Alaska, zip 99801. My local post office is small and as hassle free as it gets, however I do not know how to estimate shipping and customs costs. Do your research and see if the above works for you. Let me know if you plan to take me up on this. It is my way of supporting both Jerry and our good neighbors to the north! (Or in my case to the east)

Russ

PS - parcel post to Alaska is slow slow slow. Do not take advantage of this offer if you get nervous easily!

Thanks Mike-- You are now getting a taste of how it is to run this forum LOL

Thanks again

I tip my helmet to you Russ!

Dkt26 helped me buy some tools from New Zealand a while back, something I'd been looking for several years or more. It's these kinds of gestures that make the world a better place. If you're ever passing through this neck of the woods you have a friend, modest diy shop, parts, here in Victoria.

and I'm in no way trying to belittle Mikes generous contribution to Jerry and AN. Kudos folks!
