Hi every one, have just joined The Club. Recently purchased a Dunstall Commando which appears to have all the goodies as standard, including the dual dunstall front disc brake system.. The pads need replacing and appear to be similar to the Lockheed type in style, but are significanly smaller. (Lockheed 2 inch in dia. -- Dunstall 1 1/2 inch dia)
Has anyone replaced these pads with commercialy available replacements, or otherwise.
Any help, suggestions or advice would be welcomed. Dave in Barnsley, England.

16th July :D :D :D

Job Sorted, I modified standard Commando pads. Few mins in Lathe, carefull grinding, very carefull filing, very very carefull power sanding -- result-- Better than Originals. Dave

Have you tried Mick Hemmings, RGM Motors or Norvil?

Yes tried all the obvious suppliers with no luck or suggestions other than to get some machined - up from similar pads. Unless someone comes up with a simpler solution. that's the way i'll have to go, Thanks for the intrest shown, Dave
