1968 Oil Pump in 1973 Commando?

Anyone know if I can use an oil pump from a '68 Commando in my 1973 850? Thanks - BrianK

No problem, the only differences are the outside appearance of the body and the thread size of the nut that secures the drive gear.

I gambled on an old Atlas pump, seen often on ebay for a very low price on average. Turns out to be like new and a bolt on replacement. 80psi down the highway, 20psi at idle HOT. The only difference I found was the clearance angle on the casting. Totally not an issue. The gears and other internal dimensions are identical.
