Can anyone help with the correct length for the gearbox mainshaft for the road model 30 Inter with plunger frame? I have a shaft 228-230mm long amongst the rubble with my project for the 'tombstone' 'box. Thanks in hope BG

Hi,
I believe the shaft should be stamped 8030. To the best of my knowledge all the upright box mainshafts (aside from the three plate clutch "Manx" mainshaft), are the same.

Geoff, this is complicated by Bill Moline selling the guy a lay down guts for the upright box! Do you think the mainshaft in the laydown box is longer? Barry.
