13mm Master cylinder (seals?)

Look like someone change the bore of my 74 Commando Master cylinder to 13mm, which explains why a stock repair kit didn't fit.

I need new seals, but at this point, I'd probably go for a new piston/seal/spring assembly. Any recommendations of what to use, or who to get one from?

I'm guessing it's actually 12.7mm, or 1/2". Assuming that's the case, it was probably built around H-D seals. Do a google search for accessnorton+brake+sleeve for a wealth of information about the subject, and you should also be able to find some links to parts suppliers for the seals if your local H-D dealer doesn't have any.

You can probably get 13mm master cylinder replacement parts (or a complete new kit) from RGM Motors.

Thanks, I just compared pictures, and it looks like the Previous owner used an RGM kit.

Find a good brake specialist and get 2 new seals. The pistons don't wear. If yopu have ripped the outer boot, then you can reuse it otherwise use the one in the genuine kit.
