What a joke
Roadster side panels
Flanged alloy rims
Can't make out the air filter from a photo on my phone?
I'm not into bikes that are as they left the factory myself but to advertise as "100% original" is beyond the pale imo
And what's going on with the throttle grip hanging off ! Why make it a feature in one of the photos?
Very odd

Back in the day before everyone had cellphones and obtaining photos wasn't quick and easy, there were many times a seller would assert in print and verbally that a car was "complete" and "100%/all original"; and many times I'd then drive for hours to find a car that had no exhaust system, or no glass, no headliner, no hubcaps, aftermarket wheels/carburetor/intake manifold/steering wheel, etc. I learned to ask a lot of questions.

Feedback

Seller would not complete transaction, looking at other feedback this is common practice for them! Very disappointing, hopefully EBay will take action.

1973? Unmolested?
I'm sure there's a: 'BBC studio audience' joke in there somewhere..
(But I wouldn't lower myself :) )

Yes. I'm not concerned about modifications or updates either but such clear modifications while calling it original and unmodified means only one of two things. You don't know what your talking about or your being economical with the truth.

If you wanted it perfectly original new rims, respoking, new carbs, manifolds aircleaner, sidecovers (probably needing repainting) are big ticket items.

The state of the bike is interesting. Apart from the aforementioned throttle hand piece at least one spark lead is off and there a few pipes etc in strange places.

I love the "economical with the truth" saying
I had always thought Alan Clark had used it first when referring to some sections of pipe ahem
But apparently not,a quick Google shows it goes way back
