Hey All,Does anyone have source for proper fenders/mud guards for ‘71/72 Commandos? The Ones Andover supplies are simply ‘73/74 stainless units drill (poorly) for the earlier tail light. I’m looking for the correct chromed steel, round profile pieces. The SS D profile units currently available don’t fit the shape of the early tail light or the front stays (there was another thread about this a while ago). I was lucky enough to find a very good original front at a recent swap meet, no luck on a similar rear. You can see how poorly the tail light fits on the new SS one, i highly doubt it survive long stressed like this. I‘m considering getting some time on my buddies English wheel and see if I can correct the profile.I contacted Andover and they have no plans to produce correct ones.B
