What I did at work today

I've never put a bike on the dyno for the first time and had it run this well. I'm still smiling.

Is this just for running it in? No dyno readings?

I'd be happy to go back to full time work if I could get a job like that.

That's cool. I have a Pal that has a shop restoring Indian motorcycles, it's the only "job" he has ever had, went from a employee to owner & has had the shop for 30+ years. He complains sometimes & I remind him he has had a lifetime career getting paid to do what the rest of us go to work to do as a hobby & we spend our $ to do what he gets paid for. A smart man enjoys his work.

That was a good day. Some days are better than others, for sure. Yesterday I spent 6 hours in the dyno room with a different bike that absolutely would not run properly. It would take too long to list here to explain all that was involved. But safe to say, life ain't all McIntyre G50s.

Hi Kenny,

Now thats very interesting.

You know how I said on the Britbike forum I'm overseas at moment saving for retirement - and a new bike. That frame motor combination is exactly what I have been thinking of! I have been a Matchless fan since my G3LS when I was 15 years old. Been waiting 40 years for a G50. Maybe in another two more years!!

You will be able to run against the Ross Graham G50 ridden by Dave Cole.
