Web-site outage?

Postby frankdamp » Sat Jan 23, 2010 8:43 pm

I don't know if anyone else had a problem today (Saturday 23 Jan), but for the best part of the day, I couldn't access the forum. I kept getting the Bing "Search results" page and no amount of clicking would get me here.

Now (19:43 Pacific time), all is well.

Yup.
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

Thanks, Dave. Glad it wasn't just me!. I use MSN as my ISP and it can sometimes be really flaky, but it's cheap and fast enough for what I do. My son-in-law (a real computer geek) keeps leaning on me to sign on with Comcast rather than Verizon/MSN. "It's 4 times faster" he says. My response is that I can't type four times faster than I do now and I'm quite happy with download speeds (particularly compared to dial-up). The fact that Comcast is 2.5x the price has nothing to do with my decision (yeah, right).

Same for me. I tried 2 different systems with the same results. Glad to see that things are back to normal
