The stripes on the steel tank aren't quite right. They look right on the painted alloy example.

Indian fuel tank repos have been discussed here often , there are pages and pages of opinions to read. Here's mine. It boils down to India is a big place and so there are many groups doing that type of work, and some or all of them are not consistent . I have heard of people picking over several tanks on a shelf to find one decent one. So I guess you take your chances.

I have not bought one, but having read the threads on here I suggest that:
If you are prepared to put in more time and effort than you would normally (when buying from AN, etc) and if you're happy to finesse the tank in order for it to fit and function correctly and if you're happy having a tank that's not an exact copy in terms of shape, then you'll probably be happy with your purchase.
If you're likely to be annoyed by any of the above, then you're likely to be unhappy with your purchase.
At least that's how it appears to me.

One of those is clearly NOT shaped properly AT ALL. Looks like a giant Dominator tank, NOT an Interstate..

Beautiful bike, but $32,500 is just a wee bit pricey for me

Those guys are on crack.
What's that bike worth in today's market? $5000 maybe.
