All the Builders sign a special helmet. I'm "Cousin Dave". Tell that story another time.

There were only a few bikes there when I was there at noon. Show starts at 5 tonite. Can't wait to see the rest of the bikes.
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

I got there a bit before 8pm. It was absolutely packed. It did thin out some later in the night.

How do you pick from this lineup? That's the Union Motorcycles BSA, even more impressive in person.

Knucklehead Salt Flats racer.

Image
A Honda 6 cylinder model. I thought I saw one of these at Barber too. Or maybe that was the real bike.

A scale model of some bike. Mostly made from copper tubing.

Line of twos-stoke Kawaskais.

I have owned and ridden most of these in the past half century, so if I was going to spend my time to go look at a motorcycle it would have to be something more interesting than another impractical chopper, a model, or a common production machine, that is all I was saying. On top of that I am not a fan of bike shows in particular, they are too full of people that think they are special because of what they own and their groupies, and people that think most bikes are a lot more special than they are.

I have always endeavored to spend my time alone with "the grumpy old bloke out in the hills that knows how to fix real motorcycles" rather than a bunch of needy people worshiping false gods.

At least you can admit you are the grumpy old man.

What the heck is the deal with that honda 6?

Either that helmet next to the front tire is HUGE, or that bike is TINY.

...that, and beng is a very funny guy, apparently.

Thanx for the pix, Dave. Excellent show.

re Honda 6;
Unless it is a very good photo I don’t think it is the model that came as a kit.
Unless someone somehow got hold of the original factory bike, it is more likely, looking at the carbs-it is more than likely to the replica made in the good old UK! George Beale was his name.

Oh yeah, nice bikes all around. Looks like a nice show and nice scene
