Texas Mile Speed Trials
October 16 - 18, 2009
Goliad Industrial Air Park, Goliad, TX

I'll be there making a run or two and volunteering all weekend long.

I'm taking my '69 Triumph Bonneville so I can attempt to bump up the AHRMA class record I set at the Bonneville Salt Flats last year, and the ZRX just to see what I can manage on the top end at Wide Open.

C'mon out if you can, bring a bike to run!

(you'll need to safety wire it per the rules)

I upped my AHRMA class record from 91.948 that I set at Bonneville last year, by 5.1 MPH. Although I was hoping to top 100, my jetting and gearing apparently were not optimal. I'm still happy with incremental improvement!

That sounds like fun, you'd think if everything was right it should make a ton without a fairing.

Everything WASN'T right. It was geared for low end grunt on tight tracks, 90% of AHRMA's roadrace schedule.

one more tooth...
