Wouldn't surprise me if Old Britts have some, or even DomiRacer, they seem to carry strange things like that. You could probably use a 5/16UNF carrage bolt if you're gluing it into the tank. But then that would be sacrilege.

I thought the threads on the tank were 5/16 UNF...are they BSW?

PS-It's probably a good thing the original question wasn't about wheel nipples...

The studs are 5/16-24 X 2 inch. You can get them from most any industrial supply. Grainger carries them in stainless.

Some people use the exhaust/head steady mounting rubbers instead of studs & the rubber washers.
