My 1968 Fastback had the same problem of too much lean. What you have now can be made to work fine. If you buy a later sidestand it won't work as the frame end of the business is different. Short story: build up the stops on what you have so that it doesn't go too far past centre. Unbolt the cast piece from the frame and make sure that the projecting bar isn't bent, changing the angle of lean. Make sure you have a tight fitting bolt through all three pieces. Close up the two cheeks of the sidestand so they are tight on the centre piece. If the center piece is worn, build it up with weld. Seems the stock side stands were on the short side, so chop off the foot and lengthen the shaft as needed. I added 3/4 of an inch to mine. Make a new foot with a long tang on it so you can find it under the muffler. Or after you put the old foot back on tack on a 5 inch long quarter inch round rod, and heat and move it around so that it clears the pipe and you can find it with your foot. Then chop off the piece you don't need. Part of the problem is the frame where the sidestand attaches bends up with the weight of kicking the bike over when it is on side stand. Hard to fix, so best avoided.
