Had hoped to get a picture of the Heffalump . :? Pile of debri in garage covered in blanket .

Spent 6 hours Monday shuttleing to the pressure washer at the Car Wash ,Engine into the back
of the station wagon , drive across the way , engine out , bung ports , hit with aerosol degreeser and wheel cleaner ,
blast of , load engine in , drive back to shed , unload and shuffle across ,

Twice ,

then a third load of debri , gearboxes , alternators and exhausts and the like . No snakes enhoused or Red Backs . :D

Was a ' cool ' winters day , and soaked through . But I suppose the first steps done .

Stored them nose up , The 3.5 oozed clean oil and turns freely . The 4.4 does nose up , but feels a little odd sitting flat.
So heads are coming of that for an inspection. Was always the plan for that engine as its 70.000 miles .Plugs are still
nice ' Bonniville ' Brown and Tan .
Id driven the Car it was in home last centurie. :P Oiled it then , I think , and again in 2005 , when I got out there .

The Rover 3500 ( 215 cu. in. Was suposed to be a fresh reco , Its internal state would bear this out . Some turkey
plastered the top with paint and fiddled , Possibly easier to fit new valve covers than restore .Plenty at the wreckers,
will have to price them.

Disapointingly the SDI there has intakes in a line ' across the frame ' which would snot top rails, so maybe cut of the SU part and fit a twin throat Weber downdraught , IDF or the like . Any one got a box of Lancia Carburators ? ?
The 16 in is to the bottom of the block, the crank is about 3 in up , which is hight saved .
All the pullies etc will have to be trashed , as theyed hit the Tarmac , whilst dragging ones ear around bends .

Hoped to hijack a cameraman , easier said than donre . Off to the ' big city ' to collect a Car Engine for the Car ! forked out for that Saturday ,
Hopefully itll hold out for another few weeks till its installed , Then ' the big move . THEN get something WORTHWHILE done . And some snot
left a Tyre mark in the Bonnet Last Night . All I need . backed into by a 4 x 4 . Bonnets trashed , 1987 Car . Finding a matching one will be
ANOTHER ' mission from God ' .

Feels like living on providance to often .Another Fine Day , till some idiot sticks there nose in it . ARGH .PROGRESS , we call THIS Progress ! ?
The one rule to the exception , is theres the exeption to each rule .
