One interesting thing I discovered is that somewhere along the line the Norton valve collets went from soft to hardened which are much superior. The soft ones cut easily with a file and the hard ones zing a bit when you drag a file over them.

Anyone know any more about this - when it happened and where yu can get the hard ones from?
