I have a 1967 N15CS and except for the forks, seat and sissy bar it looks mighty close to stock. I'm sure you could trade that Bates headlight for a Norton unit.
Needs work but most of the bits seem to be there. I wish mine was that complete.

It was my impression that all the N15Cs and P-11s were candy-apple red gas tanks and everything else black. The example I tested was, and I thought they were all the same.

Looks like the paint has faded on this one.

Judging by the amount of dirt on the inside of those velocity stacks, I'd say the engine is going to need a full rebuild! Everything else probably does too, if it's like the bikes I bought. Still worth saving though.

GP, it's already gone over double your $1K figure and the reserve still isn't met. No bargain this time, I'm afraid.

There was a small batch of N15's & G15 (Matchless variation - 1968 I think) that were painted in metalic green.

My N15GSR was in a candy red on top of the chrome on the tank. I think it had pin striping too but my memory is fading.
I know I've seen a couple of G15s in that candy too.

Are you kidding. Back in the day I'm sure that was much more desirable. Sure now we can laugh but tastes change.

Running velocity stacks on any good bike has always been a capital crime in my book.
