How do yoose guys rest at night after return home from joy rides on and off pavement and about to enter a welcoming open garage door and only thing on your mind is how fast can you accelerate into it to come right back out even faster and not hit the shelves or mower in the middle w/o any brake use???



Power up rear straight in so bike will trip out on any lean off upright by counter steering and make it low side as it slides out rear till both tires on edges presented 90' to entry direction, cut power to let it hi side back upright parallel to back wall, then on the smashed down rear patch hit it with more power while flipping into straight steer to pull a side ways wheelie that pivots on rear patch w/o sliding, till front points back out the door so can nail it more the last few yds to clear threshold...

Hey Steve, I am a country boy from way back, we did some bizarre stuff when we were young on the country gravel roads and jumps, a flatmate reaching 115 MPH on a 5 speed Bonneville when still only in the laundry(!!!) jumping Nortons off ramps, but have never tried that parking method. No wonder you break rear axles among other parts. You are good for the spares market!!!

With regards to your system of getting her into the garage: I pull up...kill the enginge...back it in...place on centerstand....sounds easy (and safe) to me. But then, I'm just a boring type of Nortoneer.

Reminds me of the guy that pulled his 8N out of the shed with the rear blade on it, made a sharp turn, not watching, hooked the 12' latter hanging next to it, ladder flips around a post hitting him in the back of the head, he falls off, luckily not under the wheel, tractor goes on and into the pond.

Then there's the brick masons song, but we won't go there.
