Oh. Its steel as far as I can tell. But it has a plastic lens which sucks. The chrome bezel had a glass lens.

Plastic lens?? That really does suck. I'd have to actually wait for the dried on bugs to soften before cleaning it off for fear of scratching it? What's the diameter? Any chance of finding a glass replacement? Maybe I'll just try to repair mine with epoxy or keep searching.

Hi , I have the steel bucket with plastic lens and its fine. I use the same spray on it that I use to clean my helmet face shield . Either Plexus plastic cleaner or Original spray cleaner and polish . Both work great and scratch free. Just spray it on let it soak those bugs for a minute or so and wipe it off with soft cloth..

It IS a very nice looking bucket. Need the spacer kit also. Probably the way to go.

I bought xpel for my headlight lens. It fits perfect and comes precut and is about .030-.040 thick.

This is where the old and new Nortons reside. Gonna be a long while before either one of 'em rolls off the platform.

Wow. I got 12-16" last Thursday and its melting off a bit. Streets are fairly clean. You got HAMMERED. If we get a 40 degree day, I'm taking a slow snow ride. :D

Yup, we had a gorgeous day here in the high 40s yesterday, too. But the driveway has a solid pack of snow and ice. So do the roads for that matter. :| Where my other shed is located the snow is thigh deep.

May I suggest you keep the bike in a more convenient place?

Compared to this place (where the Triumph and the Harley reside) I think it's pretty good.

Very nice property you have Contours. All my snow melted and I got out for a foggy ride today. 50F. There WAS a lighthouse behind the bike. AND I finally replaced my clutch lever after the ride.
