Is Steve Snoen on this forum? I just read through his site (norton850.com and the tales of his long distance travels. Quite enjoyable read.
I liked the part where the he had to change his primary belt on the side of the road... it had only lasted 75,000 miles or something.
I noticed his worn camshaft picture has been posted here a few times.

You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.
