I like the look of the early style better than the 1a and 2. I have owned and ridden a 69 and a 70 Mk2. Just sold the 70Mk2 a year ago after 20 years as my regular rider. I sold my 66 Mk1 many years ago and finally found a replacement a few years ago.

As found the poor thing didn't look so good but it came with boxes of new parts that had been collected in the 90s. Mainly nos from US dealer sources. So far this is as far as I got. Put all the god stuff on it to see how it fits. Currently I am putting the engine back together and the mag has had a complete rebuild.
It will be on the road next spring.
