So i'm working away in the shop last night, the dogs are sleeping in the back of the truck, I'm tearing into a 79 Vette, I've got my Ipod going and I see this everytime I look up....
(except for the ugly Tracer in the front of the shop)

You know, I can relate. I sometimes go out into the garage and sit in the old retro "red leathertte" recliner and have a beer. I like to look around and reflect on the motorcycles, as well as the mountain bikes I work on. Just the smell seems to relax me. The dogs seems to sense it and come down off the hill to kind of sit there and keep me company. Even if I don't turn a wrench, there is just something peaceful and relaxing about it.
Traction is kind of like bowel control. Once you think you are going to lose it, it's probably too late!

I like to do that to Wolfie. One night about 30 years ago after working for hours on my 72 750's engine I had it ready to put the barrel and new pistons on, it was about 2:00am so I decided to get some sleep but on my way in I stopped, leaned on the sink/ faucet looking at this nice project thinking I may be ridding it the next day. Suddenly the faucet snapped under my weight water went flying everywhere filled the cases, my tool box all my parts everything!! By the time I found the main water shut off the whole garage was flooded... Ah the experiances of youth...
