Iridium Plugs

Postby Josh Cox » Fri Sep 02, 2011 12:34 am

Afternoon,

One of our cars is a V8 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with all the toss pot extras except the sun roof.

Purchased the car at the Auctions for about a third of the market value, purchased at 78,000 km, today, at 145,000 km changed the Iridium plugs, mainly due to a No2 Cylinder Misfire engine warning from the OBD.

Here is what 145,000 KM old Iridium looks like, I'm f'ing impressed ( it was still working ).

The gap is over .080 ", the CDI must really crank out a spark.
