Would love to go, the rallies are always so much fun. It's a 2000 mile drive (one way) for me though, so don't think I'll be able to make this one. :(

That's one t-shirt I'd really like to have though!

I'm going and my wife will be with me this year also so we will be staying at Cozy Cottages just south of town. Last year my foot got tangled with the tent door at 4am (after a good bit of bourbon from the Kentucky contingent) and well, I kind of fell through the tent, so needed a new one anyway.

Yea, don't think I'm up for a 3000 mile run on the Commando. The machine would probably do it, though. 2013 is in Wyoming...maybe, but still about 1000 miles.

The State Speed Limit is 50 MPH unless posted. Helmets Required

If you cut a stencil & put a 1 in front on the signs , you should be o.k.

BTW you do not have to be an INOA member or even a Norton owner to attend.

More Rally info posted by Mike Pappas on the INOA yahoo site:

Good evening all. Mike Pappas here with the NEW ENGland Norton Owners with some
good news rally-wise for you all.

I have a commitment from Mr. Nick and the Dirty Tricks to play on Thursday July
19th for us.

Nick and the band hit all the bases, low-down blues, swing-jazz, rockabilly and
some great soul tunes, and the musicianship is top-notch.

I think we're gonna need a few extra lobsters tho...

Here's a couple of clips of what you can expect, but I warn you they don't
really do the band justice, you really need to be there.

PS Nick also held a carrot in front of my nose, he is friends with one of the
best Hammond B-3 artists on the East Coast, Kenny Clarke, and he's gonna find
out if he's available to join in. Keep your fingers crossed!

There's only about 70 of you signed up so far. Now is NOT the time to be coy,
please get those registrations in as soon as you can, especially if you need a
site with full water/sewer hookup!

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Hey Guys,
I will be hanging out with the boys from Classic Bike Experience at the rally today, Thursday. from about 11 - 5 or so. Stop by and say hi if you're there. CBE has a nice display set up and I'd love to get a chance to chat. Weather is supposed to be in the 70's today, beautiful Vermont day!

Next year? How does that work if this is the End or the World Rally?

As for T-shirts. I'd love to have one too...if somebody picks up an extra XXL, I would be happy to buy it or trade for it. Let's see I must have a pigs flying shirt here somewhere...
