Fastback - I like your tank! Nice to see an orange one. I'm planning to join you in celebrating an alternative to yellow...... and black...and red. Go orange! :D

It looks like the answer is...no, no-one has seen one like this!

Still a fine looking tank though.
good spot by 79x100 about the rear seam. I've been working on my '74 roadster tank, and it looks 100% like the other guys' tanks.
That front seam is really quite intriguing; it was done like that for a reason, and must have taken some effort.

I guess the best I can do is admire your tank, and share your curiosity!

maybe the recess is for a drivers side air bag?
