What's the deal with these automatic trans bikes? Collectible at all?

Maybe not collectible so much as a good alternative for those with impaired (clutch) hand strength and/or (shifter) ankle range-of-motion.

They were always rare and folks are collecting Dreams and S 90s now. It would be a chuckle at a bike show already and as GP says there is a small number of folks who use them to keep riding.

I was wondering because I've seen 2 or 3 local recently that were only a few hundred bucks. Was thinking about getting one, cleaning it up a little, and trying to make a profit.

At a few hundred bucks it's hard to go far wrong. If you got it running and shiny Ebay might find you a buyer.
