Praps we should plan a ride to Phillip Island.
Or Pukekohe kickaamoocow.
Two spare rooms here if any one wants a hoiday by the sea.
Plenty of bears in the frudge.
Possum, bring me back a Fast back and a 650ss.
Thanks AC.

Oooh, did Phlip Island last year, never been so wet and cold! Brisbane is just right this time of year, although California sounds pretty good.

Yeah well I'm married to one, bloody amazing, when Australia wins the Netball she's Australian, when New Zealand wins she's a Kiwi.
I never win.
I do like going over though, love to do it on a bike.
My first two Commandos were Fastbacks. 69 and 71. Now I want a 72 or a Proddy racer. And the 650ss.
Greedy bastard, want want want.
AC.

So far you not found one event in SoCal but you do have your next holiday lined up.
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

Possm, It looks like to have to consult your Norton mate in Hong Kong for any information! There are a lot of classic car related events going on in and around the Monterey Peninsula during this period, including the well known Pebble Beach Concourse D'Elegance. This event now has a good vintage motorcycle section of about 30 or 40 bikes, as well as bikes on display in various of the vendors tents dotted around the general area within walking distance of the main event - last year there was a whole marquee of classic bikes for sale and half a dozen Broughs on display in another area. There is a Hot Rod night every Thursday at The Baja Cantina in Valley Greens Drive, Carmel Valley. They often get a few custom bikes there as well as the usual hotrods. It starts at about 5.30 and it's all over by about 8.00, although food and music go on at the cantina until late. Great food and a good friendly atmosphere. I should be there myself as of next week - the last one there's a sissy!
