headlight draw

Postby roqueweiler » Thu Jul 22, 2010 7:49 pm

Hello Chaps

Can anyone confirm that the headlamp draws the same amount of power on Highbeam as on low?

I assumed this based on the single filament and the "dip" function.

Or am I the dip in question?

cheers

Do you really want an answer?
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

Totally depends on the lamp installed and length size of wires to hi or low beam.
Most common are 55 watts low, 65 hi bulbs.
20 watt running light is also common install.
Throw yourself at the ground and miss!
