Thanks Flo. My problem (and I always find one) is I'm not even sure either set of springs are std. Certainly the original set that was used with the 2S cam the bike came with 12 yrs ago worked fine. The RGM set are wound opposite way and are stronger. However they have done 22000 but with a std cam. I don't want to rev over 6500 if I can help it so my feeling is the old set are ok. What the closed and open seat pressures are I have no way of telling.
Did you use insulators on both inlet and exhaust? I have lots of coil clearance with them installed on inlets also. I still need the tappets to put this to bed though. Cheers.

Unsulators on the exhaust as mine is an 850. Probably done about 3000 miles with it so far, runs fine, starts easy, pulls from very low revs.

Great to hear the good news about the above dealers, I have used Norman White and RGM in the past and received very good advice and service. Even the dealers I use in Austria for my Puch 175 SVS parts mail them to me in less than a week which I think is commendable considering their weather this time of year and ours just recently. It seems that those who supply the parts we need, what ever the make now know that good service creates repeat business.
