I forgot!!! capacitor number at Radio Shack

Postby Diamondjet » Sat Dec 19, 2009 7:12 am

Does anyone remember the reference to the Radio Shack part number for a capacitor to replace the "Blue Can". I've been looking all morning and can't find my notes and want to stop by the store when I'm over that way today. By the way.....I forgot to mention that I'm an electrical idiot so make it simple please. Thanks!!.

You could use this one http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... capacitors but the best thing to do i just leave it off if you are not planning on running without a battery. Just make sure the wires are taped off so they don't touch anything.

The blue can also acts as a tie point for some power wires. If you leave it off you'll need to jumper those wires together.
