Oh, no, you didn't just go there!
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

Guy says it does 95 mph. He probably wants to have something recalibrated...

Hi Brent, some years back there was a cafe racer called a Goodman built in a F'bed frame, best use of a HD/Buell motor IMHO
Don't have pics sorry

The best option is to go with a Norton twin and install the JS lightweight pistons. If you choose - you can pay a little extra to have the piston domes under-milled for ultra lightness. Note that even the JS 1007cc pistons weigh less than the stock 750 Norton pistons. Add some other trick components etc. A fast and smooth running Norton featherbed cannot be equalled.

" A fast and smooth running Norton Featherbed cannot be equalled"

Are you 100% certain of that? :D

Money being no object, the powerplant would be a hot rodded big block vincent, no question. But funds being limited as they are right now, I might need to dispose of this project to fund the completion of the 3 bikes in front of it and re visit it in the future.
