I got a pair from Clubmans a year or two ago. If you decide to go that route I can tell you how to use the stock brackets to devise a rigid mount between passenger footrests and the top shock mounts. Mine tucked in enough to make exhaust guards unnecessary. I also modified the muffler mounting plates to get a decent length of exhaust tract from those stubby little pipes. The setup does look pretty cool--people notice.

Thanks for the info. I may take you up on that. I've always loved the looks of the "S" and "SS" pipes. I was thinking about adapting a pair of Supertrapp exhaust cans to the "SS" pipes. Don't know if it will be long enough for proper exhaust tuning, buty I guess the pipe could e extended a bit. I will check CRA and see what they have.

Thanks for the link, Joe. Looks like they tuck in even tighter than originals.

JohnTickle (Bert) and I are doing a trade; my 2-into-1 with muffler and mounting bracket for his SS pipes. I will be needing some canisters of some sort. If anyone has anything I might be able to use, please post a pic. And no, Paul, sorry, I don't want the annular stockers. Some peashooters or reverse cone megs or ?

Peashooters or even Dunstalls look pretty good and work well, although you may want to extend the pipes a bit--I used 1 1/4" chromed-brass plumbing drain pipe from Menards with reducers to move the Dunstalls back to get a 60" exhaust tract. The thin-walled drain pipe was surprisingly rigid when properly aligned and bolted up with shims, reducers and clamps--the pipes overlapped perhaps a foot or so. As Dunstall wrote in his tuning guide, the more-abrupt bends in the SS pipes seemed to have no adverse effect on engine output with the right mufflers and pipe length.

Thanks for that info. I had a Dunstall 2-into-1-into-2 on it years ago and the sound and performance were both fantastic. Not sure exactly which route I want to go, but I'm sure something will turn up.

2-into-1 is off the bike and being packed for shipping. I was looking at some Emgo Dunstall replica long reverse-cone megs. anyone using these?

Pipes, muffler, bracket etc. on the way. $93.50 to ship to Belgium! Had I known, I might have thought twice before speaking once, but a deal's a deal.
