Anybody with a chain , puts a straight edge / steel ruler , along the sprockets - to check alignment .

You could always fit a Magneto , then you can throw ALL the rest of the electrics in the trash , bar the Kill switch . :P
The Japanese response to ' styling ' , was to add more .
