My first commando since the 850 mk3 I owned back in the early '80s that I eventually (after 3 engine rebuilds before I spotted the bent conrods!) got running nicely, then sold of course!
Really looking forward to it's arrival in a few weeks and sampling that lovely torque once again. Also after rebuilding much of a BSA Rocket 3 last year, the simplicity of the Commando will be much appreciated.
Mike was a real gent to deal with and couldn't have been more helpful, also thanks to John (Johnnymac) for facilitating this.
All the best
