I've been thinking about getting a kit, although it would probably be better to just order the parts I need, especially since I should know what I need since I built the mess...
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

Going to be a while. Want to get the bike broken in and me use to it. Maybe next summer?

I had an old bicycle inner tube that I took and cut up.

With one long strip I tied a knot and used it as the rear tank strap.

And with a short section I put under the rear fender bracket. There was a rubber strip there but it's wasn't keeping the fender from rattling.

Got the official title in the mail today.

California had titled it as a 1973, but when I titled it here in Oregon I put down 1972. Apparently they didn't care what it was as now it's titled as a 1972.
