Thanks for the steer on Britbike.com, I'm just going through the Matchless threads now. I'm very interested in hearing about your G80 replica special. Can you tell us about this project? What is your inspiration? My own project is entirely in my head at this point but it has been there 40 years. I'll write up a separate post about my Matchless Dreams maybe next week, it is lots of fun to dream about and plan to put in action some bright sunny day. This past week I just missed an opportunity to really put things on track but the near miss just whetted my appetite for pushing forward.

post94962.html#p94962This project stretched out about 8 years and I rode the bike for a few months and then parked it with rear brake/hub issues. It has been sitting waiting for a bit of work ever since. Please tell us a bit about your own Commando. I have never seen another retro custom!
