Hello. Upon removing my oil pressure relief body from the timing cover, I discovered a loose, round, hat-shaped brass screen.
The parts list doesn't show a separate screen, so I suppose it was crimped into the relief body at one time.
I'm inclined to discard the screen, but I suppose it offers some kind of protection. It just seems like a peculiar place to find a screen. Can you help me figure out:
- is there, in fact, supposed to be a screen at this point in the system?
- if "yes", is there a reliable way of putting it back in the relief body?
