1974 BMW R90-6RS for sale - $1000 (Mt. View, Hawaii Island)

1974 BMW R90-6RS complete basket for sale. 90% apart. Full fairing. Twin-plug heads. Under 30,000 on the odo. Can ship at your expense anywhere. Ran 125MPH with 2 up last time I drove it. Smooth & straight. Hate to sell it but I will never get it back together; too old & too tired. Great rare project for an enthusiast with skill. I will not take offers...$1000.00 cash FIRM.

Might make a nice cafe... any thoughts? THANKS! Don

Too bad it's half an ocean away, definitely sounds like a good deal.

You could sell the parts on e-bay for 4 or 5 times that amount if you had the time & energy.

Do you even wonder about relative prices when you live on an island?
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

YES! thats the only way to survive around here Dave! I make a decent living, but it really costs about 33% more to live here, so ya gotta live simply and shop around (my motto is "never pay full price for anything" I leaned that from a millionaire buddy).... On the big island, about 1/3 work for the government, 1/3 self employed or small biz (like me), and 1/3 on some kinda welfare. Its paradise!
