BBC Timeshift Documentary

Postby holtcorseaux » Fri Mar 17, 2017 6:15 am

There was an entertaining Timeshift documentary about the golden days of motorcycling (in Britain) last evening. quite a bit of Norton also Triumph, Vincent & Brough Superior. Dave Croxford and Dave Degens among the commentators, both reminiscing about their days as rockers in north London in the 60's. Very entertaining, try and see it if you can. Also the priest Vater Shergold founder of 59 club was on a Dominator.

Martin.

That stuff about Brian Shergold is pretty insulting. It seems to be about mods and rockers and saving people from themselves. When I was a kid in the fifties, we motorcyclists were the shit. However many of us have ended up much further ahead of most others, without being saved.
