Love your shot Ludwig, How often do you ride in the snow? That takes a lot of love for riding in my book, Very Cool!

I don't ride in the snow ( if I can avoid it ) !
The photo is slightly fake : The snow is at the side of the road , but it makes for nice pictures .
There was a lot of snowfall that night , but the roads where clear .
Snowfall in midsummer is not so unusual in the mountains .
This is a fullsize picture , but the picture of my brother's Triumph at the same spot gives a more realistic vieuw of the road condition :

Oh OK for a minute there it looked as if you were doing a little off roading in the snow, But it sure must have been cold. When it comes to riding in cold weather I have to admit I'm a lightweight. I take the truck and a cup of coffee, You guys that ride in the cold are my hero's. I really like the setup you have made to carry your gear, I am thinking of doing the same here in the future. Could you tell me where all the mounting points are on the rear. Thanks for the pictures, Chuck.

For a Southern Californian that might be 60 degrees...
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

Here goes... :

After digging around I found this, one of the few images I shot of my bike when it was last running years ago. Like ludwig's it has that winter theme. Although when I lived in Vancouver I rode year round which meant in the snow and freezing temperatures at times, I wasn't riding up north in the snow where this was taken. I think I just liked the look of it all frosty and all. It would have been taken inside for the winter back then.
