Barber is one of my favorite tracks!

I'll be there with NYCNorton on my two NYCNorton prepared Seeleys; the Nourish and Norton. Planning on racing BEARS and F750.

I will be there in the pits. Plan to race the NYC Seeley, and Stan will have both of his Nortons. And, MAYBE, my new Manx will be arriving from England next week and be ready for Barber

Would love to bring a couple of the Nortons from the garage for the Classic Show, but I have 3 races to run of Saturday.

Come by the pits and say hello

Oooh. A new to you Manx or a new Molnar? Either way, lucky boy!

A spanking brand new Molnar Manx. Been waiting over a year for it. I can't wait to throw a leg over her and take it around the Barber.

It was a toss up between McIntosh and Molnar. I visited Molnar's shop and was very impressed with the in house machining. So Molnar got the job.

Dave when is you Commando going to be alive and kicking again?

I'm hoping to sell my T120TT engine so I can buy a spare Combat engine a friend of mine has. Then I can swap motors and get it on the road again. I miss it dearly although the V11 Sport is a hoot to ride!

Dances - Are you riding both the Nourish and the long stroke 750 Nort? Did you get the Nort sorted yet?
G81 - Is that a 4 valve Molnar Manx?

Both bikes are going and I plan to ride both. The Norton was sorted out other than a pesky tachometer matter at Barber last year which has been resolved. We are changing to a TTI five speed as the six speed in the rolling chassis was from when I had the 750 USS engine. The six speed is really not necessary with the long stroke Norton and actually hurt my lap times - maybe a highly skilled and well tuned rider might make some good use of the six speed with a long stroke race engine and a long high speed track. In fact, I am beginning to realize that the six speed was probably not necessary when I had the 750 cc Ultra Short Stroke engine in it as that motor in it's prime had as good if not better torque of a long stroke Norton race engine and just carried the torque to a higher rpm! .........Alan, are you there to chime in?

The Norton Seeley has a new (to me) Triumph light weight dual disk front end that I sourced from Herb Becker and installed as-is. We (NYCNorton) are taking a look at tuning this front end as there's more dive than I am accustomed to,..... but my lap times were pretty damn good for this bike literally coming right off the NYCNorton birthing table.

Is it bad when your ride is missing these slightly important items two weeks before you need to hop on and ride 500 miles?

Added another bike to deliver, so I'll be additionally busy.

Is there a quasi-official AccessNorton gathering in a specific place at a specific time?

Early on, it was suggested to meet at the Motorcycle Classics tent in the Fan Zone. Be aware there is very limited parking and last year they were even limiting access down the drive to the Fan Zone. I'll be there Saturday morning organizing the bikes in the bike show, wearing my Access Norton T shirt.

I prefer to keep the AccessNorton meet up separate. The INOA people will have their hands out asking for money.

Shoot, I forgot to order a shirt!

I have been following the Barber Vintage Event thread with great anticipation of being there again this year. I have to say I am somewhat amazed that there seems to be some animosity towards the INOA. The Norton community is very small but made up of a group of serious enthusiasts. The North Florida Norton Owners go to great expense, organization and time to organize Norton Hill for all Norton enthusiasts. The camping area at Tram Stop 3 is all Norton again this year. We provide a luncheon for all Norton folks at a nominal fee on Saturday. Remember this camping area has no electricity, water or any amenities so it is a large undertaking to feed well over 100 Norton folks. I will be at the Motorcycle Classics show and at the Norton Hill functions and am looking forward to seeing fellow Norton enthusiasts. I would encourage all Norton enthusiasts to enjoy all that the Norton community has to offer at Barbers!
