Hello everyone!
I have been a bit absent from the forum and my wonderful Commando Restore project of late but was wondering if anyone would be attending Bikes Blues and BBQ and/or the Ozark Vintage Motorcycle Association Show on Saturday. It would be great to meet some fellow Commando owners face to face. Let me know if you are planning to be in the area and want to meet up. Nothing sounds better than a cold beer and vintage bike chat.
Regards,
Levi

Went last year and I can cross B,B & BBQ off my bucket list. It was (much like Sturgis) a giant Harley dickhead bump with loud pipes savin lives 24/7 and the streets (and more importantly the roads) clogged with wobblies. The music sucked (no blues, techno and pop) and the BBQ was decidedly mediocre.

Thanks for the reply!
I have never been but was afraid it would be exactly what you have described. Looks like I have a good reason to avoid the majority of it and spend more time at the vintage show in Springdale. :D

There are great roads in that vicinity of NW Arkansas and SW Missouri, but avoid the Pig Trail and Eureka Springs during BBBBQ unless you like traffic jams and hordes of clowns doing 5 under the legal limit and making lots of noise.
