So here’s an update on the issue of to much oil coming out the crankcase over flew. I reduced the amount of oil I have in the centerline oil tank and that seems to help, but there’s something more.
I was out riding and she was running smooth and with no issues, but over an hour out the bike began to lose power and then stalled out. I pulled in the clutch and coasted, geared down and then dropped the clutch and the bike restarted and I could keep riding, but I looked down and oil was dripping from everywhere. I stopped and wiped down the bike, the oil seemed to have blown through the seals and into the exhaust (was dripping from the pipes).
So I’m thinking, to much pressure built up in the motor and pushed the oil out causing the motor to die and oil to blow past. This is not the first time this has happened, so ant ideas on the cause????

1/ the centerline oil tank does not have a breather or a crankcase return.
2/ I have a inline dry sump valve installed.
3/ motor is a full rebuild with only 120 miles on it.

1. Oil tank NEEDS a breather

2. How can it not have a crankcase return? That is necessary for proper operation? Or what are you meaning?

On the left-hand side of the crankcase there is an oil overflow/drain line that use to run to the stock oil tank, but since new centerline tank has no connection I’ve just run it to a ketch can (which I have to empty every run).

POSSIBLY, your breather isn't able to breathe freely, and you over-pressurized your cases. Something could be amiss in that catch can setup.

So I’m thinking, if I add a vent line to the center oil tank and rout the oil overflow also into the oil tank instead of using the ketch can, this may work better.
The center tank is fiberglass, so drilling to holes and fitting to line connects should be easy enough.

Well winter work starts again on the old girl. Pulled off the single carb and going over to twin Amal 930 carbs. Looking forward to see how much better the top end performance will be.
Week One
Have two resleeved Amal 930 carbs with cables.
But still need to get studs and nuts, manifolds to attach everything together.

Week Two
So got the manifold from Highway Cycle last Monday and the studs from a local nut and bolt shot. Got some 5/16 coarse x 2" long studs that really worked well.
Now I'm just waiting for some new gaskets to put it all together permanently, did a test fit and everything matted up nicely.

Added a return line to the oil tank for the engine vent:

Added a breather to the oil tank:

two issues fixed, can't believe that they didn't have these two things on the tank.

Just curious did rerouting the oil lines and putting in the vent line at the tank solve your crank case pressure problems?.
