Hi,
I am looking to link up electrical accessories such as satnav or snooper behind the fly screen of my 2017 euro4 Commando. Can someone give me an idea of the best place to connect into a switched 12v supply?

The easiest place is to use the battery charger plug . The plug is tucked into the L/H upper shock mount. Surely you won't leave that device in unattended overnight ? You can add a toggle/rocker switch in line and even a fuse. If you don't care for that , then I can suggest using the head lamp and splice in there. The headlamp circuit will provide ample current and is switched off when you turn the key .

Hi ya Clive ,givi do a lead that's connects directly to battery &I terminates on the top yoke with a tiny Velcro pad ,it has a rubber cap to cover it when not in use, from this point u can use another lead to sat nav, get the top dollar tom tom that mounts on the bars with a lockable device attached .

Thanks guys,

This gives me the switched/unswitched supply info I want.

Regards,
Clive
