Chinese bearing vs German... no surprise which wins....

Ustabe, any bearing made in the USA was as good as they got, except for those rated for submarine service, which were even better. It is sad that cannot be said anymore.

Not to disparage Brit or Euro made bearings ... they were as good as any at one time.

I recently bought a new trailer. First thing I did was take it to a trailer shop and instructed the guy in charge to put all new Timken bearings in all four wheels. He objected, tried to talk me out of them, explained the cost was double that of good Japanese bearings which were twice that of Chinese. I prevailed, and when I picked up the trailer, he said "WOW! You can feel the difference in those Bearings!
