Hi
The Norton manual states that a Atlas 750 timing is 11/32" BTDC using the static method with full advance. Which is equal to 32 deg BTDC.
If the pistons have been replaced with flat top pistons. What is the static timing measurement in inches?
I believe it is 28 deg on timing disc.

Here is a link to a site where you can calculate the answer for yourself. The 750 cc stroke is 89mm (3.5 in). You will have to research the rod length to use the tool in the site.

28 degrees is the target setting for flat top pistons. For best accuracy, use a degree wheel.

Slick
