GP,
I might be there Saturday (work-dependent), I want/need to have a beer at the rally for Malcolm! (just look for the guy in the huge, floppy Hat with a zillion pins in it).

I'll be there Thursday evening or Friday morning to set up the hospitality / refreshment tent.

C'mon out.

I'm in northwest Louisiana on a Drilling rig, I suspect that we will be finished drilling early Thursday morning.

Drive to Houston (300 miles), drop my work stuff, grab my rally stuff and drive to New Ulm.

We finished drilling but then the Boss told me that he will be holding me here (Coushatta, Louisiana) until Tuesday or so, I swear it's like this "Big Oil" company does not care about old-bikes at all! (don't they understand that I have tires to kick and beers to drink?)

The event was a total sucess.

Vinny, didn't i meet you there? I guess you threw your boss off the rig and stole the company chopper?

And not a single picture?
You probably want to go into town, and find a up to date Jap Bike store,
With a full spares department, a clean workshop, and kean young mechanics.
And ask them if theres a Grumpy Old Bloke out in the Hills, who knows how to fix Real Motorcycles.

I made it for Saturday, I drove pretty-much straight to the rally from Shreveport, Louisiana so by the time I got home Saturday-night I had been awake and going for about 30 hours!

I want to thank GP for all the help with the Malcolm-deal, Sir you went WAY above and beyond! I did manage to get Malcolms old, hammered, Cromwell pudding-bowl helmet with the giant visor and it looks great hanging in my shop.

I was so brain-faded, all I got were about 3 shots of the race bike with 'Bodger's nephew on it.
