Up for grabs is a restoration project that was sadly destined to never go anywhere. I picked the bike up a few years ago with the intention of doing a full teardown and restore. As these things usually go, life interfered and the bike just sat there in pieces. I've finally come to terms with the fact that it wasn't meant to be and so I'm selling it. I've done the boring work for you - the bike is completely torn down - you get to do the fun part by restoring and rebuilding it. NOTE
As the bike is torn down to the frame and all the pieces are neatly tucked away in a series of large bins, I haven't bothered taking any photos of the bins and parts. The photos shown are of the bike as I got it. Photos
*The bike is located in Ottawa, ON, Canada, but I live about 70km from the US border, so shipping within the US is an option.
*I intended to replace all of the fasteners and never intended to keep those on the finished bike, but do still have them.
*Everything is there except the wiring harness which was half-melted/half-rotten. Likewise, I was planning on replacing the original Lucas ignition probably by something form cNw, but the Lucas bit is intact.
*The original Amals are still around, but I was planning on running Keihin dual flat-slides.
*I have the original shop manual, as well as some of the after-market manuals - between the two (and with the help of the internet), you're more than covered.
*I have a ton of specialty (Norton) tools for this bike that I've accumulated (crank pinion pullers, clutch extractor, clutch compressor, auto advance extractor, etc.) - all of these will be included.
*I also have a lot of quality, Made in England, BSW sized wrenches and sockets (King Dick et al.) - I'll part ways with these for the right price.
